Extra 12v wiring at dash board , possible ?
« on: January 12, 2010, 11:56:53 PM »
I thinking of fixing a GPS at the front wind screen and the cigg adaptor is so far away, so is it possible to have another 12v wire at the dash board ?

How to DIY ?

i done mine at $15 at a car acc. shop. What they did was get a cig. adapter extension and then tap direct from fuse box.

But for me, as the video camera was very near to the i-key receiver (rear view mirror) it does interfere with the i-key operation (eg. have to off the video camera if not cannot lock the car from outside by pressing the black button on door handle or the i-key must be taken out from pocket before it can be detected)
