Did you check your front Brake pad? Brake Fluid? Brake System? I hope the ABS light didn't turn on (as malfunction) while you driving...  :D

After that i continue driving, seems normal. The ABS light also never appear = no malfunction?

What is dong dong dong?

But i am curious, my speed only 30km/h, will activate ABS?

Very low speed also will activate, as long as the sensors detect your wheels locking. Normally happens when braking very hard on wet roads. I had it activate a few times when I brake over a road hump too.

Dong dong dong is the sound of the ABS kicking in. To me feels more like KOK KOK KOK. And brake pedal shudders violently.

not wise to use it often. As it will shorten yr break pump life

You can't choose when to use it bah. I'd rather it comes more often than not; it saves lives.

I always coast till very near to stop then brake. Sometimes if the timing is right, the light will turn green and I don't have to stop!  ;D

Drum brakes are ok. Latio is pretty small, and most of the braking power comes from the front brakes anyway.

Latio if FF car... not 4WD car leh... back back use only when "foot brake" applied. The back brake  won't help you to brake while driving unless you change to 4wd..or plan to drift...

but, some of my friend, who drift... said drift is more nice is back brake is drum leh..lol

HAr? But I tot when u depress brake , its always front and back break together .. but of cos more force exert to the front.

Simple to test...get a normal bicycle and ride it at fast speed.. then, during the high speed use only the front brake (cos bicycle is actually FR ride)..you see what happened :devil2:

Our car is FF... the transmission gear is at front. Rear wheel only dummy or when hand brake (foot brake?) is applied. That's why even your hand brake is still applied, your car still can move forward if you start your engine and depress the accelerator.

But, what good you change your rear brake to disc... is you can use the firm grab on the back (applied with hand brake fully)..then fully depress the accelerator pad..you can have the feel the smoke out from your front wheel...and the sound of your front tyres spinning on the ground... and you can drift with a FF car :devil2:

For my case there isn't violent shaking of the brake pedal. It is more like using OSIM product, massaging effect....  ;D

Btw i zam brake that day because i turn my head to look at another accident. :-p

It looks fake as there's no brake calipers.
