Green "car Key" light on...
« on: February 22, 2010, 10:31:15 AM »
Recently I noticed that when I start my car... the green light on the car-key is on.. but it disappeared after about 10min or so...

Somehow I never see it before that last so long....

Is this normal or the battery is weak?

probably the battery is weak

have you changed the battery since you got the car?

try checking the arming/disarming distance using the remote control

if the distance is shorter than before, most likely it is time to change battery

Time to change battery in the I-key liao. It still can last for a while, if continue ignore the green light, one day you will find you can't open the door ...only can use key to open door and start engine.

Confirmed. The flashing symptom is due to weak battery for i-key.

haha.
I don't think there is an urgent situation that makes us not able to draw out the physical key and use it....
