Camera Survelliance
« on: March 26, 2010, 08:32:49 AM »
Being interested to get, recently from MCF got 1 bro caught a car vandal with this. In my opinion one of the nicest looking around and also the fact I think it is not that visible(to the vandal lah).

Any good/bad FR on this?

Almost wanted to buy this camera.  Already called and arrange the time with the seller but dropped the idea after some thoughts.

Good points about this camera:
Small, easily hidden
Wide angle

But very expensive $388 for this CMOS video cam I feel not worth it.  Checked a few online videos seems cannot view the car plate clearly.  Night recording is also a weak point of CMOS.
GPS not required.
Recorded videos need special software to open.  Exported video doesn't have date/time stamp.

So choose a cheaper alternative which is also listed on his web site without price info yet.

him bro, thanks for your advice on the camera, true that it is troublesome if need alternate software to view the files as not in avi format.

how about this newest  camera posted in the commercial folder?

good point:
1) come with lcd
2) $320 cheap?

questional point:
1) make in china? heehee, can last?
