Unlock/Lock Door sensor is not sensitive
« on: May 14, 2010, 11:33:09 AM »
Hi, nowaday i seem to have problem with the remote sensor on my car.

I need to press the door button a few times then the sensor will activate to unlock and lock the door.

At first i thought is the weak battery on my remote, so i replaced one, but the problem doesnst seem to disappear.

I tried the boot and passenger button as well, and also have the same problem. Did anyone encounters this problem before? What could be the problem? My ride is about 1.5yrs old, if i go TCM will they charge me?

I have the same problem. Change battery as well. But it's intermittent for me. Sometimes it can open from a distance, at times, I have to open the door or boot manually. Car is also about 1.5 years.

what you need to observe is does the remote near your hand phone or electronic device?

I had that problem for a while but resolved it last week, open up your remote and make sure that your battery is sitting properly in the battery slot, pressed it formly down on the metal ring like catch then put the cover back on. It worked for me.
