Pear/Cone shape is good cas of the lower CG but then again, not good for those hoping to gain as much as they can from JB

Fuel from tip to 3/4 mark i can only get around 60KM. Not much savings from JB if i'm going there for shopping

Thanks for the picture. So, it is more like a software/sensor issue.

That's great. Thanks for the image.

I tested with JB petrol.

I drove 170km before it hit F from the point I pumped until it reach to brink. Kaka..
Before it reach 3/4, I am around near 200km.

It show that it have a lot of allowance until it reach to brink tho. =) Consider good to go in with 3/4 and pump until vomit.  :devil2:

Mine too. light up when it hit 380km from full tank. wondering is it too fast? if on calculation from full tank till light up should be 38lit.
380km/38lit = 10km/lit  :scared: :scared:

I was just thinking about what is the capacity of the fuel tank for my 2006 Latio Sedan.

The orange light for my fuel tank came up today and I went to top up a full tank of petrol for my car.
The amount of petrol that I could pump was only 34.7 litres.

I understand that there is around a reserve of 5 litres of petrol.

So, does it mean that the full capacity of the fuel tank for my car is around 40 litres?

If you try pumping till brink, I'm sure you get more than 40l for sure. =)

Yup it's always around 10km/l. Well i have a very aggressive right foot... & my 17" rims  ::)

If i'm not wrong, our Latio's fuel tank is 50L big. Tried many times driving 80KM (city driving) after the warning light comes on, and when i pump till brim the most i've got is 44L in which means i should have around 6L left meaning another 60KM? Trying not to push my luck too far  ;D

Furthest i've driven after warning light came on would be 100KM in NSHW. Managed to only pump 43.5L

Actually after the auto-stop i'm only able to squeeze in at most 2L. Sometimes even 2L is difficult. Talking about till brim

Well, I was traveling in MY, so might as well make full use of it. Pumped until auto stop, then squeeze bit by bit into it. It will go down as if your petrol tank is infinity capacity! But well, took me a long time to reach the brink. =)

It's fun to keep pumping to see how far u can go.. but not so fun when it overfills and spill over.
Happened to me once - the petrol spill marks can be seen on car body even if you rinse with water immediately.   I had to do some DIY polish+wax to remedy it.   :D
