Hi Latio owners,

My 4 years old latio air-con blowing warm air. After top up the air-con gas, it was good for 3 weeks. When the problem occured, I sent back to TCM for check, they said that cooling coil is defective.

Could you advice me where can I get the cooling coil replaced? Any ideas, how much it cost?

Thanks.

Thanks dsrio.

My car air-con after top the gas it work well again. One week plus, air-con still cooling. When the problem happen again, I will send my car for air-con check and replace the cooling coil, if that is the real defective.

Very light hissing sound, when blowing warm air. After top up gas at TCM, air-con is cooling, did not hear any hissing sound. Air-con is working well for last 12 days.

Could be your evaporator unit, I have experienced once when the drying agent in the evaporator unit breaks down and block up the valve, after you off the aircon for a while it functions normal when you on it again but problem will come back again.

During the problem occurs, I have off the air-con for 5 to 10 mins and then ON the air-con, it does not help. Until I went to TCM top up gas and the air-con cooling again. Today, the car air-con still working fine.
Just guessing is that really a leaks in cooling unit!

hissing sound is due to cooling coil leakin, do u encounter any bitter smell comin out from the vents?

if u do its better u get ur coil replaced instead of toppin-up gas as it will not solve the prob permanantly.

WoW at a cost of less than 35O bucks is a steal man, many spent between 400 - 500 to get their coil replaced.
