Front Rubber Bumps
« on: August 30, 2010, 08:52:50 PM »
Went for my 60K servicing at TC today.  Was told the front rubber bumps need replacing soon and they cost $280.

Wondering if there is a cheaper place to replace these.

Front suspension rubber bump?

Try autoaid or autosavers, alternatively you might want to visit nissan stockists at Waterloo Street

looking at the front suspension, is it the rubber part that torn from the top and fall to the base of the suspension? AS said that should be ~$35 per piece exclude install.

No lah, not so much.  280 is for 2 pcs.  So it's 70 vs 280, still 4 times difference.  Will call AS and find out about the installation charges.

Went AS to replace front suspension rubber stoppers.  $45 per piece and installation $35 per piece, after GST total is about $171.

Yes, that's what they told me too, just that it may cause some noise.  I was changing my tyres so just replaced the rubber bumpers too.
