I was wondering how is latio engine fare as compare to vtec, mivec or vvti?
Anyone has any idea?

if i not wrong, latio selling point is not its engine leh, its it interior comfort.

Latio engine is as funky as the VTEC. If i floor my latio, it will think for a moment then go. If I did that for VTEC, it will chiong without hestitation haha!

pickup for our engine really CMI if u compare to VTEC..aka.. if u chiong, then VTEC

but if u compare the interior + $$$, our car will top most of them , including continental cars

In terms of engine, I would say powerr is adequate for day to day driving and not for boy racers, also due to high CG.

But Latio scores in Interior space, especially rear leg room.

I thought VTEC open only after >5000 RPM. :confused1:
Take Ryan's turbo's kit lor, I sure your latio will be faster than stock VTEC car from idle speed.

install coilover plus chocolate bars plus upsize rim & good set of rubber.  mentally upsize "balls" :D. can win them on bend and corner. joke only

no excuse such as no pick-up, high CG, car heavy blah blah blah
