RPM increasing when going down slope at D gear
« on: September 16, 2010, 10:21:01 PM »
Hi, wonder if anyone experienced the same? When going down slope the RPM increased to 3-4k. Is it normal? I'm experiencing this after my trip to Genting.

Got same experience when I travel from ECP down slope to rochor. This should be normal not only for CVT but also for auto cars as gearbox is engaging engine brake. Next time try engage to L when go downslope, rpm will not increase not fast

IMHO.. latio can engage D when going up genting.. I got no problem with 4 person (mine is 4AT).. always engage lower gear '2' instead of at 'D' + stepping the brake all the way when going downhill.. ur brake pad could be damage if experience excess heat..
