O/D - how to activate?
« on: January 14, 2011, 03:31:28 PM »
to activate O/D, do we depress brake and O/D button at the same time?

Sd this be done when the car is moving, or shd it be done when the car is stationary?

thanks

O/D is OverDrive.....when u press the button while car is cruising (no need to depress brake, pls), the O/D will be OFF and the transmission will drop to lower gear...mainly used for overtaking or climbing steep slope....or for tat burst of power....

Try not to do that often as it will damage the gearbox faster  :crying:

I was advise by that technician to activate only at 80km/hr and above for its to be effective. Its good for overtaking on highway when you struggling to overtake another vehicle.. ;D
