Servicing in Malaysia for Latio 1.5 sports
« on: December 25, 2010, 10:39:02 PM »
I drove to Msia to check out the servicing package. So far price seems fine but I think our engine and their engine is different as they do not have the 1.5l engine.

My servicing is 100k ... major parts

Any bros gone there to verify if the parts are the same? So far they cant confirm if we can service there given theirs is 1.6l.

I have never done servicing in JB before, but I believe the parts are the same between 1.5 and 1.6

However, parts there might cost a bit more then in Sg.  You might want to enquire on the price before going.
I've heard friends who bought parts from stockists in Sg and bring over to JB for servicing.

100k servicing due to parts change is very tricky...what i have found out:

1) brake pads front different, back is e same
2) belts and sparks should be different
3) EO oil and oil filter shouldnt be issue
4) CVT gear oil - NS-2 guess they dont have? since their latio runs on AT
5) any others
