Mine also batch 2007, already few tanks, when pump attendant pumped full, my fuel indicator unable to reach F, just above 3/4 tank nia. Afraid to go in to Malaysia as well.  :(

I had this problem when I pumped full tank at Caltex. The fuel gauge will not go to FULL.

After I switched to Shell, the problem disappeared!

Maybe the little men in Caltex's fuel playing punk...  ;D

I pump full until the petro spill out, the gauge only show 3/4 tank.  :confused1:
I dont think TCM can give us free replacement or repair. Is there any workshop can repair? What the damage going to be? Sigh

I used to have this problem.  Normally this is what i do.

Case 1:
1) When i pump, i choose the slow mode.  When it auto stop, wait 2 minutes for the fuel level to go down.  Then continue to pump in slowly.
My case is always 2 litres more from the auto stop.

2) I also use the STP fuel injector cleaner - those black type costing $9 plus and during offer only 7plus once in a long long while.

Case 2:
If your fuel gauge is stable for quite a number of tanks and suddenly in the recent tank it starts to show high fuel consumption and the fuel pointer can move down and after
a while move up again, this may be the issue of dirty air filter.  Personal experience twice using simota air filter and knn air filter.  They are good filters but u need to do cleaning if this problem occurs.  I am lazy person so switch back to stock filter.  The fuel consumptions varies from 12.9 to 14.5 km per liters when issues comes.

I just had mine changed FOC because still under warranty. Complained that the fuel indicator seems to drop very fast from full to 3/4 tank after only 75km.

I am still monitoring as I brought my car in after the 3/4 mark. But from the past three top up of petrol, it has been ranging from 75 to 90km and the top up fuel indicator lighting up at only 360Km mark. I don't think it is case of faulty sensor as each time I went to top up, its is about 37 to 38 liters. Which indicate that I have only about 8 liters left in my tank considering this is a 45 liter. Which actually indicate my FC return is very poor.

360km is quite bad. Something must be wrong. Either your right leg, heavy load, heavy rim, 95% city driving or traffic jam to and back from work. :confused1:

Believe me i am very conscious of my foot when stepping on pedal...undeniable morning traffic is slow but still moving evenings for me no problem...journey to and fro office is only 26km. This week after first top up since the float was replaced and ECU reset, see some marginal improvement in FC but have to wait until low fuel light up then can tell. But one thing i noticed was my indicator did not light up even passing the 35 liter mark as usual. How i know cos when i went to top up i pump in 37.5 liters.

I also experienced the same thing :( :(My ride is 2007 and no more warranty so can't ask TC to change the fuel filter for me  . I only travelled ard 70km for my 3/4 mark. And my full tank last me around 370km to at most 390km. I changed my spark plugs, changed my air filter. Don't know what else to change

Well after getting them to change the fuel filter and resetting the ECU, I do see a marginal improvement as compared to previous. Now hitting about 420km before low fuel gauge lights up and also don't know if changing to Esso 95 contributed as previously I was pumping 92.

My ride is 06.  I am getting 420 at the last 1/4 mark.  Been using Esso 95 for the past year.

Everyting is stock except for 16" rims, 6 pts grounding and UTR power charger.  FC stays between 13.8 to 14.5.

Yours not so bad at least you hit 420km at the last quarter mark mine is 420km and need to top fuel indicator light up..let see how long this performance last. My last servicing before this they also reset ECU and I got improved FC but then after a few rounds dropped back to normal.

I also have this issue when I pump petrol after auto stop, when I start the engine, it hardly reach the F mark...

However, I am able to reach at least 100-110 km when reach 3/4... and when the low fuel indicator light up, I will hit at least 500 to 520km mileage... using stock 15" wheel...

Btw, mine is 2007 make...

I just experience this yesterday, usually i pump shell, then i decided to try out esso(mobil) pump to full myself as usual, normally the fuel gauge will hit the full mark, but it only show in between 3/4 and full.
So when i reach home, off and on the car again, i jump to full when i travel near 40 km :confused1:
Decided to leave it for the night, so today start car go work, still showing the full mark so tot its ok.
Drove to work, drop to in between 3/4 and full again, travelled 50 over km, so tot heng ah back to normal,
so decided to try again, off and on the car again, went up to full mark again, arghhhh  :scared:

what is wrong?? anyone who has solved the fuel gauge problem outside other than TCM??
Pls let me know the place and location?? Thank You..

mine is nov 2007 latio sedan... changed once (by nissan) the fuel guage cos it drops very fast...
but seems to be that after the change also dont repair the problem...
full tank will drop very very fast all the way until the middle level then the guage drops slower...
i dont really monitor the fuel used.. so cannot comment on that...
