Bought a LAtio premium, Amethyst grey. 20 months old. Can't remember how much was it but it was worth the buy... Been driving it for 5 months and F/C is excellent. 70/30 expressway- urban, 14.5-15.2km/L.

CVT is smooth. And so far, family and friends gave good comments about comfort and leg space. Latio premium have all the high end specs thrown in. Foglights, auto folding side mirror, auto headlight sensor, alcantara leather seats, downlight at cockpit and glove box...

It does make a big difference between premium CVT and AT. Had a friend who drove the AT version and was surprised that i touched reserve light at 520-540km. He managed to touch reserve light at 460-480km. So far full tank i can reach 620km.

Hope it helps

the strength of the latio is definitely is interior comfort.

even my 5 years old cvt latio, whenever colleagues or friends sat in it for the first time, they always express surprise at its interior spacious and built quality, saying its really solid and quiet.

but weakness is its handling which is okay for normal driving in singapore roads.

Anything to look out for when buying this car?

Was reading thru the forum, there seem to be a problem with the steering rack, is it really that bad? Some post was saying change 3 time in 3 years.

mine was changed one time... but the good part didnt last long as well..
so i didnt bother changing it.. as the tan chong ppl says no safety issues...
