Question for CVT
« on: December 01, 2011, 08:54:34 PM »
Hi all,

Sorry for asking a noob question.

I've been driving latio sports (cvt) for 1 year plus already.. i notice that when moving off from stationary, my car RPM will go up and then drop at around 20km/h...

wondering if this is the norm for latio CVT to have the RPM dropping when moving.... i thought CVT supposed to be smoothly go upwards...  :confused1:

Thanks !!

Special thing abt CVT is speed can continue to increase when rev stays or drop abit, tats why muz know how to play with ur accelerator. Let go abit when time is right, works like changing gear.
