Bro Kevin,

Can send your contact details so all of us here can keep in touch with you?  My next 10K NPMP with TCM coming up soon.  After that, I will stop & terminate.

Now scouting for another place where I can send in my car for regular 10K checkups.

Can anybody recommend a good workshop & reliable 1?

Thanks / Ramesh

BTW, $2,400 is for RECON/REFURBISHED gearbox.  Takes about 2 months to come in from Japan.  No ready stocks.  Also heard from a lot of people who have CVT version Latio, they also encountering problems with gearbox.

KNS TCM... lousy people...  :crycry:

I am quite curious. Just wondering the agent's scheduled gearbox oil change for Latio is 100,000km if I am not wrong.. But many of the Latio or Sylphy gearboxes especially CVT seems to have issue and problem following the agent's 100,000km schedule while outside workshops recommend gearbox oil change earlier than that. Wondering if TC wants to make more money from the gearboxes breakdown after the car warranty of 3 or 5 years is over???

Sorry to put that here since I have came across quite a number of gearboxes breakdown from my pool of customers driving Latio and Sylphy.

What do you guys think of that?

I suspect that's the case too...Most cars will only hit 100k after the 3 years warranty is up. By that time if gearbox breaks down, owners are caught in a catch. They either gota change gearbox, or send the car for scrapping. That's one of the reasons why I totally loathe going to TCM for servicing. Had some negative experiences with them before too. I think the service standard for TCM has really dropped dramatically over the years. Back in the days when my dad was driving his first Sunny in late 90's, I find TCM quite pro and ethical. Don't know what went wrong with them in recent years...

My front wheel will sound "tack" whenever I reverse for parking ... went TCM-Ubi 3 times, they keep on mention nothing wrong ...  :crying:

And best part is TCM make me waited for 6hours for every trip. Wasted all my leave.

Coming friday going over to kelvin's workshop to check ... this KNN TCM really disappointed me big time.
