Is your tyre profile stock?

The speedo count base on stock tyre profile. One rev = how many meter.  If you have different profile then distance travel with your 1 rev may not same as the stock.

I just got my Latio last week, the size I'm on is 195/60/15. Original size is 185/65/15?

My speedometer showing 80 but my GPS showing about 75. I think the difference to too big

My GPS and my Speedo shows a difference of 6kmh (Speedo is faster). I'm on 205/55/16 which is more than 1% bigger in circumference compared to stock wheel size. I have been driving the ride for 6 years and I've never seen a need to rectify the small issue which will most probably keep you safe from the traffic police.

Actually if the circumference is bigger than the riginal size, the speedo will show a slower speed, anyway 1% bigger in circumference may not have much difference, only 1.7km/h difference if your actual speed is 100km/h.

That is provided your speedo is already accurate in the first place. I doubt my speedo was ever accurate because the difference is really too big. I hope this will not affect the odometer as well.

i dun think i need the perceived higher speed to keep me safe from traffic police.
