« on: May 31, 2012, 11:12:21 PM »
Hi,

Like to know how big is the different at your ride when you change form stock to 195.60.R15?

I mean how many km can travel per liter....

How about 195.55,R15?

If I go for 195.55.R16 what can I get?

Many thanks...

Hum...that is intersting

Both same size can have 2km/l different.

That is quite alot.

Btw I'm getting close to 14km/l with 75% HW 25% City, 75% alone and 95 grade petrol :cool2:

My tyre pressure front 240 and rear 230....Too high or not enough

My tyre pressure only 230 front, 210 rear.
Only 12km/l.
Should increase the pressure to get more km??
Using 195.60.R15

if i am not wrong, higher tyre pressure equal to better FC but at the expense of ride comfort.

Fc is the least of my concern, the major change is when u take that corner, significant diff between a 185& 195. I feel better with the bigger shoes, and when u need a sharp lane change at some speed 195 makes a diff

Nvr tried sizes beyond that as rim is stock, i'm sticking to 195s for handling sake

was on stock 185 for the last 3 years and able to do 160km when going genting, about 4 months ago changed to 195 hankook, now when travelling at 140km, the steering virbrates liao siao.  Not sure if its the tyres or something wrong else where.

You can ask around....

For what I know not many workshop doing it as we can't test after doing.....  :nonod:

Unless you go North or test your luck here...

My friend use to do it at malaysia as after do can test right away....

Next month I going North (Genting) to test my ride if nothing mess up.

So far tested at 120km/h.....stll ok..  :devil2:
