MULTI-FUNCTIONAL CARBON CLEANER
Short start-stop driving trips as well as prolonged idling are the main causes of carbon deposits in the combustion chamber.

A certain amount of carbon accumulation is present in all engines and any excess build up is usually compensated for by detergents in the fuel and also by the heat of combustion that burns away the excess. However, owners might settle for low-grade petrol which tend to lack these detergents. And more often than not, if the engine does not work hard enough to "blow out" the carbon, further accumulation occurs.

When this happens, the deposits will take up more space inside the combustion chamber and increase compression which eventually leads to detonation ( spark knock) when accelerating or when the engine is under load.

Thickened deposits may make tangible contact with the head or valves leading to hammering inside the engine. The hot carbon deposits may also glow causing a pre-ignition of the fuel which may ultimately lead to a spark plug fire. In serious cases, it may even burn a hole right through the piston.

In addition, carbon deposits on the back of intake valves can also impede air flow & cause a loss of high speed power. It also causes hesitation problems by absorbing fuel spray from injectors.

To remove carbon deposits from combustion chambers and injection nozzles, use a multi-functional carbon cleaner such as the EC-900C at H TYRE. The blasting equipment softens, loosens and removes stubborn deposits. The results can be felt immediately with your petrol burned more effectively bringing about higher engine performance.

Besides Engine Carbon Removal, the EC-900C also facilitates brake fluid exchange. Find out more at Brake Servicing.
