Thanks to Kelvin and his team
« on: October 05, 2012, 06:07:30 PM »

Sent in my ride today for some routine checking and maintenance jobs.  Was attended by Teo (Kelvin's partner, I hope i got his name right cos it was the name associated with the hp number on the namecard).  Nice chap, He was very patience and not pushy.  After some diagnose, Teo point to me which areas/parts that need to be changed/serviced.  He gave me the option of whether I wanna change it now or do it at a later point of time.

Other than the routine jobs (eg. Change oil), below are the stuff that was done today.

- Changed Cooling coil ( I did not even realized the hissing sound till Teo highlighted it to me, now it does feel much colder and without the hissing sound)

- Clean Throttle ( talk to Kelvin before about my acceleration is sluggish, now it felt more responsive and smoother)

- Changed Belt (Before that, there was a squeaking sound each time I cold start the car)

- Changed Battery (Teo shown me that my 2 yr old batt start to show sign of weakening, decided to changed it on  the spot for a peace of mind)

When everything was done, Teo was kind enough to guide me via a shortcut exit.  Initially  I thought seow liao,  have to wiggle myself thru the tight and small lanes just to exit.

Overall, I felt that the service I get from Kelvin's team was much more better and detailed than what I got from TCM.  (I used to frequent UBI TCM till one of my family member went to Kelvin's workshop 2 weeks ago.)

Kelvin - Hope you can retain the competitive pricing with the good service and you can certainly add me into your long list of regular customers.  Thank you.

Went back after my aircon was blowing out hot air.  Got my compressor, radiator fan and wiper changed.

Thumbs up for Kelvin n Teo for being able to accommodate my last minute request, can drive in peace during the CNY period liao.
