I have experience before. During early morning or evening, the car is cool, but during afternoon 'bua tan han'.
Went to Kelvin workshop and change out cooling coil and one pipe, ok already.
Suspect is cooling coil spoil. Bring your car go for diagnose.

Cheers.

Air-con gas leaked, cooling coil need to be replace.

Confirmed. Anyway, the main prob is not enough gas. Where leak I dunno but very likely to be cooling coil. Changed mine @ Kelvin's workshop (really recommended)

Confirmed. Anyway, the main prob is not enough gas, the air isn't cold enough so by the time the air gets to the passenger side (which is the furthest) it becomes warm liao (thanks to Kelvin for explaining). Where leak I dunno but very likely to be cooling coil. Changed mine @ Kelvin's workshop (really recommended)

I meet both Kelvin and Teo this morning and they did a fantastic job. They were patient with their explanation, took out 4 wheels to inspect all the brakes, replaced 1 of the brake rubber seal (used) FOC and changed the aircon cooling coil (no more hissing sound) at a reasonable price. I am a layman in terms of maintenance and I appreciate their honest feedback and transparent pricing. A good turn deserves another. Well done guys and keep it up!

after high rev eg overtaking etc, the air blowing out from the air-con vents is not cold

need to switch off and re-start the engine before getting cold air again

any prognosis?
Be safe. Go with the flo.

think one of bro here experiene before, its due to the water tray at cooling coil, check if its leaking.

did you ever change your cooling coil at outside workshop?
i realise when i was changing my cooiling coil at kelvin workshop that the previous workshop(located at toh guan) that replaced my cooling coil actually cut the water tray to save time when replacing my cooling coil, they then used tape to stick it back  :nonod:. i was lucky it never leak.

kelvin helped to patch up my water tray with silicone as thee was no spare water tray avaliable at that time, lucky for me.

Yup. Replaced my car cooling coil at Mark Cool few months ago  . Will it be a safety problem? If not, will let it be... I stick a cloth there to absorb the water.
