Latio cvt oil. Using other brand

Has anyone used any other brand of cvt oil like fully synthetic kind??
Will it damage the gear box??

I think not much people want to try as if damage the repair cost is huge....... :crycry:

Also you change every 60-80K...means about 3ys you change once.

Not worth taking the risk unless you only plan to drive for 2-3yrs and change ride. ;)

For me sure stick to original... :thumbsup:

Hi, just to share my opinion. CVT very $$$... So for kiasu people like me i change the CVT oil at every 40,000km. Better safe than sorry. I had mine done at Kelvin's workshop in July. Original NS-2. Not expensive also especially for peace of mind. Cheers!

i know that if gear box is dmg... definitely need to change a new one (hardly possible to repair).. Price for a new gear box is around $1500-2500..

so i think not worth trying new cvt oil... some more dont think will affect performance by a lot

bro,not new CVT gearbox $1500-$2500.it's used type.new CVT gearbox is $16 000++ :crycry:

Need to do major servicing.
Just return from long drive trip

Change engine oil (likely to bring my own).
Brake Pad
Air filter
Aircon Filter
CVT oil

Any idea how much?
