Tyre recommendation for normal usage.

Hi guys,

Anyone used roadstone n'blue eco before on their latio sport? How is the wet performance and noise levels?

Any recommendations for good and cheap tyres? Budget ard 100SGD per tyre.

I just changed to goodyear efficientgrip195/65/15 on sat. Bought from tyrepac and installed at arrow tyre.
Tyres are those comfort and quiet type with low rolling resistance. Steering is lighter and more precise in low speed as compare to my previous falken 912. For the price offered by tyrepac, i got no complaint lor. Whats more, its made in germany.

Wow...thanks for the info! I was initially looking at Goodyear assurance fuel max 185/65. But still undecided. Didn't realize there was a 195/65, efficientgrip. An even quieter model.

No problem changing from 185 to 195 for our latios?

for latio, 15 inch should get 185/65R15 or 195/60R15

No problem changing from 185 to 195 for our latios? 

I changed from 185/65 to 195/60, and now to 195/65. No problem with either size. The tyres are not touching or rubbing the fenders.
In fact, quite a number had changed to 195/65 with positive result. Speedo is more accurate, fender gap is smaller with a fatter tyre and you will also have a wider selection of tyres.

Yes I agree with all the above but you missed out on one factor. Our speedo was set to run slightly faster than the actual car speed, normally 5-7% faster. So with a slightly higher side wall, larger diameter, the speedo difference will be smaller.

oh i am not aware of that

normally people fill up their fender gap with larger rims and not more rubber

i reckon the handling should suffer but maybe more comfort, however the effect should be minimal

Gonna fit them soon at Beng Heng of toh guan. Anyone experienced with them?

Anyway, you guys used nitrogen gas for your tyres?
