Few questions here:

1) OMV:  Is my car's OMV fixed or floating?  Where would this OMV be reflected on my car's document?

2) COE price used for PARF calculation:

My COE reserved/bidding price is $14K.
But during the actual COE bidding results, it was $6K !!!

So when i calculate the COE rebate value in future when i want to sell my car, which number would be used to calculate my COE rebate value?  6 or 14?

3) How to calculate PARF:

is it PARF = (COE rebate) + (100% of OMV)

Please correct if i am wrong... thanks

The OMV price is where the agent declared to the customs department for the cost of the car inclusive of all their logistic cost.

Current ARF should be 110% of the OMV declared to the customs. The PARF rebates after 10 years should be 50% of the ARF which is equivalent to 55% of the OMV.

COE rebates is based on the COE premium payable when the car is registered. So if TCM uses the existing COE to register your car, the paper value of your COE will be $5200 (CAT A amount).

take it easy la...

no point getting upset with thing which is beyond our control...COE is like gambling.

That is the advise I get last time when I get my COE, book when it is 12k but bid result only 9k. But this time round is bad, almost drop by half. Agent damn happy lor...there r the only winner.

Forget abt it and think how u should enjoy yr ride or mod yr ride...hehe :devil2:
