what is the weight of the engine oil suitable for our ride? W20 or W30? did our manual state we can use W20?

manual stated w30.

but you can use w20 as it is a new car.

i've personally tried w20 and it feels much "live-ier" than w30.

but after 60000 km, please do not try w20 anymore. =]

i have a psp car cradle lying around somewhere since i sold my PSP fat .. keke ..
while i was using it, i only hook it up to my HU's aux in for the stereo sound ..
should be able to get an adapter to charge too .. my friend did that on his lancer ..

bro, no need so cham one. you can just do up a ac/dc converter with a 14" roofmount or 9" front mount, good to go liao.

got 1 of the latio bros actually did it before mah. not sure if he's in here.. ps2 hooked up to his superb sounding system.

recently just change to a simota S/steel air filter, but heard the filteration for s/steel is not as good as paper filter, so how does it affect the engine? any ideas what is UM for simota air filter, i heard hurrican is abt 55um. Thanks in advance

simota, hurricane. all the same. to me, stainless steel means lousy filtration.
how does it affect the engine is a simple logic. more air go in, lousy filtration = more dirt inside engine.

of course.. not to worry. you can always do engine flush to clear the engine. =]

I checked that the normal fog light including installation in JB is $160RM. Takes abt 1 hr. Are the fog light the same as what we get local workshop to install for us?

fixed volume. no way to make it louder.

weight of rota can ask me. i got a chart with me.

rota rims are good stuff, im currently running on rota boost 17x7.5", cheap, fairly light, able to clear brembos(very impt for wrx).

for your latio, depends on what you want. if want good fc and pick up, go for 15" or maximum, 16".

tyres, you know i will recommend hankook lah. hehehe, try their v8rs. no regrets. my gf's car travelled 12000km on it already and the treadwear is very minimum. quiet as well.

if you're going 17", try to get japan rims such as enkei, oz, rays, gramslight. match them with s1 evos. you'll love the grip and feeling. with it on, you should be able to negotiate most bends @ 60~80km/h without worries. not even a squealing sound from the tyres.

if need help recommending tyres and rims, can always call me @ 91544534. if im free, i can accompany you down to the tyre shop.

i'll advise you to try 15", 195/55/r15. alternatively, if you're going 16", try 205/50/r16.

price im not so sure. depends on what tyres you take.
