Thanks, BlackieLatio for sharing.  Is yours 4AT or CVT?  Anyway for the 64K price, it is rather confusing.  TCM quoted 64K nett for a CVT now.  But I called up the Nissan Authorised Agent at Ang Mo Kio, the quoted price was 61K nett for a CVT.  The conditions are the same as TCM, which are: (a) at least 30K loan and (b) in-house insurance.  No other condition.  It means a price difference of 3K, at least.  In both cases, we have not talked about freebies yet.  It should be the same quality car as both are importing from Japan.  Really confusing pricing scheme for the same car but sold by different agent, though both are also Nissan's authorised agent.

Mine is 4AT...........though with top up i am lucky to get it if not now u buy other make car the px has increased too.

Bro, cannot be so much diff leh as the px is control bt TCM. Maybe u can make a trip down to AMK 150 to check with them.

Ya lor, so much difference.  That is exactly what that is puzzling.  Since I got mine Latio already, not going to check la. Called them our of curiosity only la.  So far, am satisfied with my ride, especially the spacious cabin.  One potential problem is the FC.  Mine seems to be no where close to what many bro/sis here get.  Hope will improve overtime.

Mine is a CVT.  My first tank was 14km/l.  After 1st servicing at 1000km, it has dropped to 12.5.  Some bro/sis here say it is the myth about poor FC after servicing.  However, some others do not experience this.  Hope mine will improve back to 14km/l at least.  I loyal to Shell.  Also 95 ron.

Hi, ok here goes my full story.

1st bidding TCM bid 11k plus & coe closed 12002.

2nd bidding TCM bid 12k plus & coe closed 13k plus--My SE ask me to top up a small amt b4 going next bidding. (amt 2h~5h) told her i dun wan

3rd bidding TCM bid 12k plus again & coe closed 14k plus liao.---call & ask SE how as my trade in old car insurance & rd tax is expiring on Apr. She say boh bian is TCM decision bcos i dun wan top up. LL & pissed of with TCM....

So i told her i want to downgrade my car from sport to sedan version, change of color & use the 1k diff as a top up. Of course 2h deduted for admin & 60 i use to buy visor. so act top up 740.

4th bidding TCM bid 13k plus but still cannot kena. So this round she say give me an open cat abt will reg at 12002 bcos she say 5th bidding chances is even slim. So i accepted.

Actually i bought my car b4 cny & TCM should at bid at a higher px since the coe only increased $1 compare to the previous bidding. Dunno wat r they up to since they are clearing stock.

anyway with the top up my buying px is still 57100 for a sedan which now is abt 64k if i am not wrong........
pretty much the same story. bought in b4 CNY.
TCM very unprofessional, esp when all my other frens who got it from AD during this period all got their cars...vios, civic,mazda3, suzuki sx4
some more after feb 2nd bid COE is 12.8k, din get it, my SE told me clearly that "the management wants all customer to go into March bid to enjoy the 10% rebate & also TCM predict COE will go up, so customers will benefit even more"...however, comes March & April, exact scenario, but SE unable to deliver his promise, and the so called "management" i met say that nothing of this was transpired to the SEs, my SE also ganna sandwiched...
anyway, this is my side of the story...which I believe the same crap & lies were told to many others  who's in same situation...
moral of my story: SE not in the fault, TCM management, directors, are the ones playing bast***d, while the poor SE and SM are the ones meeting angry customers and yet powerless to act, because they are told to "hold ur customers till 6th bid and we'll c how it goes with COE then, make them itch and top up"
hands up whoever agrees with me! :cursing:

HI Guys,

My SE juz called me... ask me to top up $1300... she absorb $300... so i top up another $1000k for the last bid.

Funny har.... I asked her top up $1000k to get $17000 COE or $13000 Open Cat from Feb.

She stunned.

I told her you make me wait 6 bids and still need to top up to get a $13000 COE Open Cat from Feb... obviously wasting my time right.

She blame on the TCM management... then I told her how am I supposed to trust her company after this?

sigh...

nevertheless, I admire her for still daring to call me to ask me to top up... wow..

Of course she dare to call you. If you give up after 6 bids, she will get nothing. Unlike newspaper, car not easy to sell.

haha.. urs not bad liao.. still bother to call u... mine didnt even try...

watever it is, TCM Ubi is a wrong choice to buy from. I heard my friend who bought from another authorised dealer from AMK, got it easily oso...

Think we need to start a new thread "TCM Ubi, a great disappointment" or something like dat.. if not, there may be more pple who have to wait like us...

Does Good deal have to equate to Lesser Priority, Less concern?? If so, don't bother to price that in future...

I'm thinking, do we need to wait so long if we'd decided to change another brand/model. If we buy another car of different make like pslok did, took a loan from the same bank which we took from Tan Chong, having the loan approved in the new car, i think our loan application for Tan Chong would definitely be harder to approve or not even a chance to get approved.

Is that so?

bro, for TCM, it's more of "there is no such thing as good deal till the deal is closed..."
i dun believe their pricing is without buffer as well. instead tcm is very cautious in their pricing
compare with BM & KM, their COE rebate is usually 1k below the previous COE.  TCM? i remember was 3.5k lower than previous COE. means that they so kiasi...so such a kiasi company, how can not have buffer for us leh...just playing us only la...anyway, we can only wait and c how they wan2 play this game...i wonder my SE will call me or not, he only sms me to tell me no option for top up this round, all go last bid...

haha ooops u are right! the deal is still hanging there...

not sure but if that's wat u mentioned, ours COE rebate is only $7500 and for those who didnt opt for lower bid, theirs is $8500 which means >$3.5k compared to previous COE leh... it's $4500!

Last time, used to hear many say AD sure get COE within the 6th bids...
Juz wonder after next week, how many in total will not get the COE even after 6th bids...
BIG negative news for TCM !!!  :devil2:
Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for, in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes and the car and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

Ya alots of ppl say sure to get coe after 6th unsuccessful bids. But the problem is if they decided not to give out coe due to losses, current buyer will need to book or source another car at a higher px now .

Eg, most of us book in Feb b4 cny at ard 56~57k but now i heard is 64~65k liao.

correct me if i am wrong.
