2) stop at roadside and driver get off(I-Key in pocket) to buy kopi. wife sitting in car with engine on.
3) sanmon auntie come, wife need to drive car off so as not to kenna sanmon

Can the car move since I-key is not within operational zone? Or will the engine be cut off immediately?

In that case, what is meant by the "Immobilizer" function and how does it work? Thanks.

if ur doors not locked. ppl open ur door, cannot start engine and drive away, can only steal ur cashcard and stuff. Tat immobilizer is to let u start ur engine without the need of putting in key.

I see.  Thought the meaning of "immobilizer" means something more sophisticated.  It is no difference from other cars where if you din lock the car door, people can open the door and steal things but cannot drive off since they do not have the car key.  Confused leh.

I try a few times, once I left the I-key in my pocket and out of the car, a few minutes later, the car will locked itself.

Are you sure abt this point??

It will only lock the doors if you unlock it without open the doors, it will auto lock it after a few minutes, I have encountered many times forgotten to lock my ride liao lor...till the next morning i go get my car...

thanks everyone for the advice. i tried it out, can drive off without Ikey, just that there will be a flashing "key" symbol in the meter  :D

dun tink it will auto lock the doors. anyway if the doors are auto-locked and someone is inside the car, still can unlock mah so nothing to worry about  ;D
