Yesterday morning when I drive my way to Tan Chong Ubi Service Center from Woodlands, I noticed that the air-cond is blowing hot air and cold air in turns. Meaning hot air, then cold air, then hot air again, cold air again. Damn I think my air-cond spoil or something. So in the service sheet I report to them about this issue. The guy who always do my car when I send for service said the reason is because I did not turn on the circulation button (the button which looks like a u-turn sign) when air-cond is on.

So after I collected my car, the air-cond all ok. I normally set to 25 but when its too cold, I'll set to 26, all fan 1. The problem still there when I'm on my way back home from Bedok. Sigh...
This morning, I call the service guy. He said they'll do further testing to see what is wrong.

Any bros/sis got this problem?

My latio got problem,  with hizzling sound below glove compartment...the air is cold but when I increase the blower for passengers behind, the air flow wont increase & only can heard louder noise from the centre (behind radio).

And I noticed my setting is 24oC, but the air coming out felt like 18oC.  :confused1:
Anyone experienced this way?  compressor malfunction? or blower malfunction?

No, I didnt change the aircon filter.  My latio 1.5 yrs.  what is "aircon comp CMI".  Is it the compressor or the blower? or both?

for my car, its permanently on cold unless i open the windows while driving. I disconnected the hot water supply, hence, whether its set at 18 or 32, the aircon blows out same temp  :devil2:

my last ride did the same....simple DIY job....

when driving up to KL at 5 in the morning.....finger almost frozen even on the smallest fan speed.......
windd down windows really noise....

i suppose every thing got it pro and cons....
jsut to share....

compressor so easily spoilt?  But it stil working today. :confused1: Probably the previous day I drove longer distance and the compressor showed signs of going to break down soon.  Am I correct? So tomorrow booking, got to get it change and hopefully they have stock for compressor. :D

My air con settled. Its "icing" problem. Open the bonet you'll see this white icing on the aircon pipe .

Replaced evaporator and the sensor. ;D

O! Hot Hot Day...yeah now my aircon set at 24oC starts to cool fast!  Didnt notice it only after they change the evaporator (convert Liquid to gas) which was cloaked.  For those who took longer time to cool, can start to take note.

Pic uploaded see my previous reply where the tell tail sign was the icing pipe in the bonet.

It rained heavily jus now about 7pm. After the rained, I drive off with air set to 25. the air blowing out is warm, then proceed to set to 22, fan get louder, but the air is blowing is still warm. Finally set to 18, the fan was blower very loud, but still warm air blowing out. Finally wind down the window, the the air outside is much cooler.

Wonder is there anything wrong with my air con? Should i make a appt wit TC to check out the aircon?

May be your aircon "Mode" is blowing the air to somewhere else? Blowing to legs , not to the body?
sorry, i must agree because i don't know how to disagree. agreeeee only....
