Dunno lei.. at first mine jerk very badly one lei.. then one fine day use this rain shield.. sold by some carpark mobile groomer.. then the jerking stopped after the first rain.. But if I wash my windscreen with the windscreen washer.. and I didn't put the rain shield on.. the jerk comes back again... So now if I use windscreen washer I must use the rain shield thing..

wierd thing is, when i go servicing and tcm changed the wiper, no washing of my ride or whatsoever, the problem solved. After a while, now come back again. Could also be stock wiper material not good, so under heat will spoil. And reason why rain shield helps, acts as lubricant?  :confused1:

hi guys,

wiper spoils easily due to the climate in sg. jerky is mainly caused by wax or polish on windscreen. using 3M sand paper for windscreen can oni clear away sands or dirts that cant see by eyes. it still depends on where u park ur car. under the sun or shade, location? i m working at tuas. so dusty and sometime i can see spots on my windscreen that dunno caused by wat?? :confused1:

My advice
jux spray water on the windscreen then start ur wiper. it can help to preserved the life span of the wiper. and try to wash ur windscreen everyday using the wiper too.

hi all.. i have go to change my wipers .. now problem gone.. i suspect it is becoz i used incorect size wipers previously.. my stock ones are 22", but i bought 21" as the 22" no stock. i know it is rather ridiculous, but when i bought back the 22" wipers last week, no more jerkiness..

just for info..
