« on: April 10, 2008, 05:11:10 PM »
Any advise to get rid of the yellow stain? I think its from tree sap, scrap off the sap but it leave a yellow stain. I use wet tissue, water with microbire cloth on hard rub also no use.

Maybe you try polishing off with normal wax 1st. No point buying a whole bottle of liquid clay for this. I bought it as mustafa tat time for abt $35. Its the ICE series.

The best way is to send your car for some professional polishing....sure can get it off....but.....cost $$.
Just send my pearl white latio for polishing today...as good as showroom condition.

Mine also pearl white, has been a year did not sent for professional polishing, can recommend me your groomer and what's the damage like? What's the interval you send for polish. Had been delaying coz got alot of ding/dents on the door, thought of getting the dent remove 1st then send for polishing, but I have been delaying doing that.

Try the Meguire's Spray Detailer.
I use it not just for detailing, i also use it to remove stains on my pearl white Vitara.
Pretty effective for the stuborn stains around the door handles.
I'm sure those driving white cars can understand.

Hi amazon,

There is a few mobile grooming service at the market forum. From the feedback sound not bad.
This is also the 1st time i send my 1 yr old car for grooming, paintwork already becoming a bit yellowish.
I did the grooming at thomson area, sign the package for 5 polishing service, 1.5yrs. Damage is $300.
Anyway, I manage to come to agreement with the shop to register 2 cars under the package.
So 2 cars for 1.5 yrs, this will work out to be approximate 9 months per grooming.
If you interest, PM me and i will send you the shop details.

this is funny....after a 2 wash/wax , the stains disappear ...

just like to know how you guys maintain your pearl white /white coat during the normal days(in between grooming) :

Previously, I wash and wax the car every week and took me 3 hrs, everytime after completing ...half body already dead.... so I went to try the Caltex snow wash ...which really lighten up the maintainance ....but I still have to wax some parts of the car (esp those horizontal areas like bonnet, roof n boot) to get rid of those 2 tone stain/mark ..
