Front underspoiler hit kerb and bumper dislodged
« on: April 15, 2008, 11:00:21 AM »
Haiz... Last night I 1st time parked head in into a lot cos feeling abit lazy.. N din realised the front underspoiler is lower than the kerb... So in the end the underspoiler scrapped e kerb.. After I reversed out, realised that the left half of the bumper is dislodged, hanging about 3cm below its original position.. Now when I drive there's sometimes this weird sound, probably the wind hitting my bumper...

Anyone experienced this before? Or anyone has any suggestion on what should I do? Thanks..

Had almost the same thing, only it happened to my rear bumper... Reversed too much and the bodykit scrapped against the kerb. Part of the bumper came down after that. Went to a mechanic who had a look and realised one of the bumper hooks (for lack of a better term) had come off. So he changed it and attached the bumper back again... Hope this helps!
