hi all. usually i will pump till the 'click' sound, then i stop. so is easier to monitor.. i get about 510 to 515km till the empty light up.. then i pump about 34 litres.. is usually the case.. so far haven pump more than 35 litres yet..

just wanna find out, how much mileage do u hit when the needle reach the first quarter point ? today i only manage about 70km.. usually nearly 100km.. duno why suddenly drop.. i just add a sub at my boot, surely this wun cause so much difference ?

If your sub is placed in a wooden shelve (or whatever you call it), got amp.. etc.. it will somehow affect tho.  :devil2: I think only

Driver please note :

Watched Discovery Channel/National Geographic last weekend (I forgot which programme), one of the show mentioned this :

DO NOT TOP UP YOUR CAR'S FUEL TANK AFTER THE PUMP NOZZLE STOP, AS SOME SPACE IS NEEDED FOR VAPOR GAS INSIDE THE FUEL TANK. IF FILL TILL OPENING, THEN THE VAPOR GAS WILL HAVE NO WAY TO GO AND PRESSURE WILL BE BUILDUP INSIDE THE TANK, IT WILL BECOME VERY DANGEROUS, JUST LIKE A BOMB!

Well, guess I will have to change my habit, as I usually top up my fuel till almost flowing out   :zipped: :zipped: :zipped:

I think even you pump till the tip, there's still some allowance. Unless you tilt the car with a choke (like those petrol exploiters in JB) then that will cover up the allowance.

Cheers.

Hi Bros

but I thought there is a drain hole near the brim that will drain out excess or spillage to somewhere......

Guys how do you calculate your FC? Recently I been pumping the petrol when it reaches E. Today I pumped the petrol almost half tank and the calculation seem not tally.

Calculation is: (Mileage Driven) divide (current litre been pumped) ? Am I right? I'm not the one who did the calculation tho.

My math is terrible a failure  :bleh:

i used to count my FC also by pumping when meter reaches E.

but now with the oil prices going up and up, its good to pump every now and then and save that 1 - 2 bucks.
