For Stock tyres, shld be 230 front and 210 back.

My is 16 inch tyres, i ask bcos there are ppl that pump 240~250. Also can we pump all the 4 tyres to the same psi?

Did bros here with FC problem manage to solve? I read thru saw alot of ppl with bad FC but did not see if they resolved it. Scary. Me on first tank, seems to be achieving somewhat near 14km/l, but I'm gonna pump Esso 5000 $40 again and see. The tank so big.. take quite long to finish  :D

no good if u speed in HSHW.
too much will create more heats if we drive all the way to KL.

bro rayson, frm my personal experience driving a lousy car (last time drive a 1996 model nissan march) i try to pump 2psi above spec to improve FC (fc for old car very bad, ard 10km/l although 1.0L engine) and it was very scary. my car would skid when roads are wet. not too fast. 50kph and a little more brake pressure enough to skid liao. but once i reduce the pressure back to recommended, the skidding reduced. i was using falken tyres. 155/70 R13. small tyres i know, but the theory is the same. if you are safety conscious the little drop in FC is worth it. for the latio i only pump 10kpa above spec (240 front/220 rear).

When the pressure is pumped in say at 250, by end of the day it will drop a little, everyday a little bit will leak....

IMHO, i pump a little more so as to tahan the losses.

Hi guys, I'm getting 450km out of 35 litres on 95 (caltex). tyre psi is 220(front) and 200(rear) on 15". Is this FC considered ok?

work out to be 12.8km/l...shld be ok ba...cos most ppl here getting 12-14km..some can even achieve 15km

and yr tyre psi is a little below the recommended psi 230 (front) and 210 (rear)..try increasing it and see if can improve
yr FC.

Bro, you may consider to pump the tyre a bit more see whether can help to improve the FC. I pump 245 (front) and 225 (rear), no prob at all, so far can achieve 14 to 15km.

Think slight loss of typre air of abt 10psi is normal, considering the distance travelled daily, temperature & weather....its a good habit to check & pump your tyres every fortnightly or so....but if sudden leakage the next day after pumping, think might have to check tyres if any nails or small holes needed to be patched up... :bleh:

My tyres are at 265kPa front and 235kPa rear. So far so good. Lifetime fuel consumption is ~18.6km/L. Been keeping track since I bought the car. Worst tank was ~13.5km/L, best tank ever was ~22km/L. CVT, Caltex 95, everything stock, Castrol (GC) 0W30 engine oil.

Oh
22km/L?

my best record was abt 19km/L... in msia...

you are so powerful. but not very accurate one lah, alot of factors inside... e.g. the road conditions, the person who drive the car, traffic conditions and so on
