Hi everyone....am new to this website and forum....just got my sedan latio about 1 mth ago..went for 1k servicing already...FC only achieved 12.5...does the FC for this car continue to improves?

One more question, I dun understand why the seat has to be so high up even when i shift them to the lowest....it is not particularly comfortable for driver...need some getting used to....but the keyless feature is great.....

Dun worry about FC, just enjoy your ride.  ;)

hmm, i could be considered heavy footer ba. i guess. drive abit faster on expressway den last time, so maybe they would have affected

Driving fast on expressway != heavy footer......what i mean is how hard you slam onto the gas padel when moving off from stationary and when overtaking at short distance....if you often overtake at short distance, you probably will slam hard on the gas....

During my first week with the car, I slam hard on the gas very often and push the rpm above 3000....now i try to accelerate at abt 2500rpm....at highway, i can achieve from 80kph to 110kph by keeping the rpm to slight above 2000rpm....

hi idiotboi89

ohhh, i am using ron95 aso, the cheapest one.
my FC is in this range of 11.5km/l to 14km/l.

i thk just relax, no problem with the FC, it varies for every tank that we pump.

regards.

There is an even cheaper grade of petrol than 95RON.

That's 92RON.

Zippy,

When you Latio has run in, petrol consumption will be less and you will get better mileage.

Was it you who mentioned that you bought Carlube synthetic oil for your 1000km oil change?

Maybe your poor mileage could be due to thw synthetic oil?

Mineral oil is recommended for first 10,000km run-in period.

Rising fuel price? It been going down for the pass weeks !! No one is forced to commit to buying car, you may have your reason but we are not obligated to know. Anyway, as I have mentioned, Latio is already a good FC car, so just enjoy and control your right foot or usage since your family have 2 cars.  ;)

iagree, I tried pumping ron92, after the 3rd tank, my car like no power, so I switch back to ron95 but from ron95 to ron98 I tried, no diff.

Owner manual recommends not exceeding 4000rpm within the first 1000 miles or 1600km.
