Hi All
Need some ex[pert advice....my milage has hit 47K & am looking to change the stock Toyos
On the shortlist =
Toyo T1R
http://www.toyo.com/docs/tires/tires.asp?lpid=18966&name=Proxes%20T1R%99&category=sport#Features
http://www.1010tires.com/tirereviews/Toyo_Proxes_T1R_tire_reviews.html
GR80s
Saw some really good reviews for both, GR 80 is a fav in Singapore
Thought of going for T1R..they look great & are reviewed pretty well!!
but used the calculator & saw that the diameter for 185/55/15 is 5.39% & 195/55/15 is 4.18%
They warn that 3%(Warning! When changing tire sizes, we recommend staying within 3% of the diameter of the original tire. Any more than this and you face the risk of brake failure.)
http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp
Anyone has used a wider & lower tyre with the stock rims??!! anyone with expert advise...or should i stick to GR80s they have multiple sizes
I can get the T1Rs at approx $500 for 4, & GR80 around $400 mark
Pls advise Thanks
