Hi Bro,

Stick to 30Weight Amsoil.

My engine has been on it since my 10K service...now the engine is almost nearing 65K....still very quiet.

I have recently change the engine oil to Rockoil but still maintain engine oil at 30weight.

Cheers

Bro zzzz

I am on 5w-30....the "5' infront of the "w" is the viscosity of the oil during winter, and does not apply to our weather..

Its good also! but amsoil slightly better. what do u feel?

Any difference between AMSOIL 5W30 and 0W30? Does 0W30 give better performance?

Hi Bro Bigblooo, How much is the Amsoil 5W-30?  Need to get how many litres for the Latio?  If bring Amsoil to TCM for servicing, how much will they minus from the servicing package cost?

Thanks.

You need 4 bottles of Amsoil.

Im using 20w.  :bleh: Still ok of what Im using but I notice a drop of FC, still monitoring.

I think they will deduct off about $90 since you bring your own Engine Oil. My servicing package is A, costing $180. But after deducting the E.O. price from TCM, it cost me $90+.  :yehyeh:

Its Amsoil btw

its more for protection rather than fc......

the thinner the oil.... the better the fc, which equate to less protection of piston.......

As told by the guy at the shop and my car forum, using 20w is more then enough for since I dun go Malaysia. If go up to Malaysia, 30w will be better tho as the oil for 20w is thinner then 30w. I think 50w is better for cold weather country because of the thickness. That's what i know about tho.

I gotten 4 x bottle from him and TCM only use 3.5 bottle. I still got half bottle left for 20w. I will buy another 3 more bottle for my next servicing. Better to buy 7 at one go because Latio only drink 3.5 bottle.

Price is $15 each. I heard from the guy that Amsoil is selling very well, the top seller is Redline.

Mobil is good but Amsoil is cheaper and good too. Silent is great!  For cheong, I dunno leh.  :bleh:

I paid $110+ because of $20 charge for balancing and rotating of Front Tyre, so it's $90+ for sure.
