how to remove odour in car
« on: May 21, 2008, 02:26:51 AM »
My story:

I had a bottle of apple juice on my passenger seat, my fren sat in my car and place the bottle on the floor. after tat i forgot bout it. after days of rain and shine, the apple juice turns into something tat smells like puke. and worst of all, the bottle cap gave way and spill onto my passenger underseat.

i tried to remedy by cleaning with wet tissue. but i still cannot eliminate the smell. there's still some after effect of the smell in the car. anybody with solution to this or any professional odour buster to recommend?

nothing left...

My son once vomited on a long jorney in malaysia. What we did was we used wet towel to clean the affected area. Later use the uphosltry cleaner and spray foam at the affected area. And drive with windows opened. When back in Singapore still got faint smell, so next day clean with the foamy upholstry, at the same time clean the mat vacuum interior all the while  opening all 4 doors wide to air the interior for a few hours.

Don't will help or not, but I can imagine your smell could be worst than ours.

Our car aircon already comes with the ioniser.

Ya, i am aware of that but I think our Latio aircon ioniser is not strong enough,  :bleh:
and moreover the ioniser function in the aircon is not always on.
if i am not wrong, it switches on/off like 20min interval?
you can see it on the screen "Ion" when it is on.

this Maier one wil help remove odour faster.
i always on it when i tabao food in the car,
other times, i did not on it.

iagree,
i think the retail price is abt $45.
but tat time my friend got for me in a group buy from another car forum at abt $35.

:scared: I didnt notice the word "Ion" on and off! Thanx!

Just plug to the 12v and that's all?

Hi All,

I have been following this thread... Quite some time ago, during a friend's wedding, I was in charge of transporting liquor which one bottle happened to topple and spill all over the rear seat of the car
