Can brand of petrol affect FC so much
« on: June 03, 2008, 09:29:51 AM »
I always pump SHELL after get the new car. This tank try the SPC, burn 3/4 tank only travel 300KM, but with SHELL at same level, I can get 400KM. Can the SPC so bad?  :crycry:or the car's computer system need time to know SPC pertol?

Travel pattern is almost same, and tire just checked 2 weeks ago. Anybody experienced this before? ::)

experience the same thing also, i usually pump Shell then when Safra card got discount i switch to SPC for a while, pumped same RON but get slightly less mileage ~ 60KM difference.

Haa.. maybe that's why "Shell gives you better mileage" :P

So you go back the "shell". I do feel the car is smoother with SPC. Hope the petrol is same and the computer system of the car need time to adopt this SPC.
