Left dashboard not properly fitted
« on: June 23, 2008, 07:39:30 PM »
Hi guys,

Been wanting to post this question for a long time but never did. I noticed that on the drive side of the dashboard near to the ERP IU unit, between the side of the dashboard and the panel near to the small triangle glass, seems to be not fitted correctly. As a result, can see a gap in between. I've been trying to press the side panel down but it doesn't work. I've also been snooping around some of the other Latios. I do see some of them have the same problem as me and some don't. Anyone noticed this?

Nope, no rattling sound... Just feel like 2 sides are not fitted together nicely.

Regarding the rattling sound, I did encounter it on my main dashboard, esp during uneven road. Went back to TCM during my last servicing & feedback, but after that still have the same prob. At the same time, I installed UR front strut bar for my ride & the rattling sound gone nowadays! Wondered where the rattling sound come from?  :confused1:

Ultra Racing Front Strut Bar holds our ride's chassis when it flexes, i.e. hard cornering. Incindentally after installing the bar I did not hear anymore rattling noise.

More info on UR Strut Bar can be found at the ERev....think they're doin a MO currently...
