Bring Own Engine Oil for Servicing
« on: July 06, 2008, 06:29:14 PM »
Thinking of not using Tan Chong in-house Fastflo synthetic oil as there's been feedback that it is not so good.

If we bring our own engine oil when servicing Tan Chong, how much do they refund us for the synthetic package for 20K km, 30K km, 40K km, 50K km etc. ?

I travel at least 40K km a year and will be due for my 20K km servicing in about 4 months' time.

Your usage is heavy, twice the national avearge (sort of).  With today's high petrol price, your petrol bill per month must be high man.  Bringing own oil was discussed recently. You can check the posts.  If you have to pay for the servicing, some bros had shared that the discount is worth it and will in fact be cheaper overall.  Is your car under the NPMP promotion?  If so, you have to check with TCM.
