Dear forumer,

Lately, when I start my car,
I can hear a hissing sound.

the sound can only be heard when the car is "cold", blue light on.
once the light is off, the sound is gone...

I dont have this problem in the past,
it just occur lately.

Does anyone know what is the problem?
critical?
my next servicing is due in Sept.
still a long way to go...

BTW, my mileage is about 45,000 now...

Thanks you.

Believe the hissing sound is the air con releasing pressure sound.

Could it be the sound from mechanism to check our airbag pressure if its in working condition?  :confused1:

Doesn;t sound like timing belt. It sounds more like air con compressor. I use to drive a kelisa.. It hisses a hell lot!  Especially during start up. After that it is normal.  Could it be that you are low on air con gas? Time to top up? Sounds likes it. Try turning on your room aircon. I believe it is the same sound u here. a slight but minor hissing that goes away after sometime. .But beware, there is a statement in the warranty booklet that says we must pay for the gas top up if the air con compressor has to be removed/replaced.....
