Heyo iagree,

Guess you are a Malaysian, so don't understand what is PM then SM then MM lah.

Anyways, regarding the MM (Mega Meet) - see http://forum.thelatioclub.org/index.php?topic=6383.msg121910#new

As to the gender distribution, maybe can ask Carmodz as I haven't meet everyone.

Hi Silver

Actually, i know what is PM, SM & MM, they stand for Prime Minister (Badawi?:) ), Senior M & Mentor M.

But if you are talking some terms for cars, I doubt i know abt it because I do not know abt car, i just need a car to drive that's all. The rest of things, i dun really bother too much. When i bot Latio, i started to learn bit by bit but it is only when i encounter some problems then i will ask. So, generally, i dont follow up abt car closely. Sorry ya. Nothing to do with Msian or Indonesian, it's just that, i dun bother abt car coz it is for us to go fr A to B and back to A, so, i not really keen to spent time to learn. But, my friends in KL, they really love cars very much. I believe they know what's your PM, SM & MM.

Regards.
sorry, i must agree because i don't know how to disagree. agreeeee only....

hi wave

if this is the case, i believe carmodz and me must really 'sit' into yours to press our ears to it to check for you. don't worry, we can do a good job one.

i believe there are many other guys out there are lining up from Raffles Place to Woodlands checkpoint to wait for the day to come. woodlands traffic condition is bad, but guys are still willing to wait patiently.

mega meetup soon? this prob shld be able to be solved (fully) for you! if the problem persisit, i believe you have to send it back to TCM and bang table liao!

i believe we are ready!!! guys, am i right??? ARE YOU READY?

Heyo iagree,

I mentioned Malaysia because Malaysia don't have SM and MM, only have PM

Actually, the sf don't refer to car lah

PM = Private Message
As mentioned earlier,
SM = sound man as need to listen for the sound mah
MM = Mega Meet

so the sequence is PM, SM and MM

just a joke (Singapore-style) lah

some guys here experienced that before. Could be due to compartment at front passenger seat.
Get it check with TCM, believe they encounter lots of this complaints.

Hi wave sis..

maybe some screws or parts inside the panels r getting loose? i had this irriating sound recently.. then my bf tear apart the panels.. at the seat belt casing.. and we tried ard the carpark to c if the sound is coming from it.. it is actually a metal screw hitting against the panel inside.. we managed to get it "re-position" back.. hehe.. now no more irritaing sound le!!! if u r able to pin point where all the sounds r from.. then send it in to tan chong.. tell them something is coming loose in there and ask them to check.. cos if u just bring the whole car without knowning where the problem is.. knowing tan chong.. i think they will just test drive the car.. then tell u everything is ok.. lol..

hello alantan9,

ic. that is the meaning of OT.

but no OT leh, i told her that just bear with noise, it cannot be solved.
well, solved already on day #1, day #2 come again. how many times are we going to keep bothering abt this irritating noise? just bear with it. or, alternatively, sell it off and get a luxury car like BMW (Car), Merz, or Lexus. Warranty covered very kaukau, sign up for maintenance contracts, FOC if any problem happen. Of coz the price is aso very kaukau. But customer service is surely be very tuk kong one! U guys agree bo?

btw, no buaya leh. u feel that i am buayaing meh?

anyhow, just ignore the noise... unless something very serious happen for eg. something which might affect your sterling (to drop out), wheel (drop out?), tyres puncit, and so on. otherwise, just bear with it. take care.

Regards.

hello Carmodz

what do u agree abt leh? or u are calling me ah?

anyway, this rattling noise problem, i encounter few days/weeks after i collected my car (collected in Oct 2007...), already asked tcm to solve, well. they solve it by changing the "coupling" or sthing, but it is 治标不治本, what's that for? u look at Latio's price? it's not a 100k$ to 400$ car, and the dashboard? plastic!!! how not to have noise? must agree.

one more thing, we dont time to waste with TCM. u look at their servicing schedule? we must take annual leave to go for servicing. 1 day of annual leave cost me few 100$, if based on man day basis, one man-day can be $1000 to $2000 per day lah (IT industry). how to afford right? just bcoz of this small uncomfortable noise? so, bear with it now lah! i believe if i service in Msia's TCM, that would be the best (and cheaper in pricing due to the exchg rate). i thk so. will try.

regards.

i was thinking that may be some loose screws causing the sound, thats why when travelling faster speed then to be louder cos of vibration....
wah your B tear the panels of the seat belt area or the dash board??

Wah easy to tear out and assemble back or not ah? If so, I shall attmept to do it myself and see if really got anything loose behind the panels..
