I hear a Tok sound when I turn more than 90 degrees either side but nothing more. But that's the auto detect to disengage the direction lever (or whatever its called). Are you referring to that? More like a click click than a tok tok. But I don't hear anything on mine.  :confused1:

Try not to turn the signaling, if still with the tok or tick sound, most probably yr coupling need replacement liao....

Read from other threads that some change steering coupling...but change liao also no use. Some adjusted the steering rod....but problem also came back. Hmmz....seems like not easy to 'remove' this bone breaking sound....

Just an update....went down to TCM (Ubi) this afternoon and was advised to surface the problem during 5k servicing which is quite soon (mileage at 4000km now). They say will take time to dismantle the steering rod to take out and check.

Mention something about 90degree design or something...thats y turning to full lock will hear the 'kok' sound. Then if they tighten the steering rod still same problem, then can go back change steering coupling.

Means got to go back one more time after 5k servicing if problem come back which i bet its very highly possible....haiz

eh i also have that "problem" from my view point it was the mechanism catching something. So that when u counter steer it will push the signal back t stop signaling. I dun have this problem when i dun signal.  read from some other forums in malaysia that it is quite common. Mine from day one already have. It could be a design issue not a problem with the column. Hence i just decided to ignore it.  My old kelisa has almost the same problem. Except that my signal sometimes aiyo jam the steering wheel!

What is the 'mmmmm' sound you hear? Come from engine, steering or tyres?  :confused1:
