I find that Toyo tires are OK on dry road...but on wet road it may slip when braking....so be careful

Six months ago i was on the PIE (near Eng Neo turnout) doing 90~100km/hr on the right lane with the Toyo and it was raining moderately - but the road was very wet....The car in front (at about eight car length) braked suddenly so I immediately brake too with full confidence as usual...but the Toyo tires slipped the road grip for about 2~3car length before recovering its grip fully. It was really quite a shock to me as the Toyo tires had done only 25k km...So I told myself that I better get a "better" normal tires (like Micheline Energy, GR80 or Hankook V2, etc..) before the end-of-year raining season.

Finally I changed to Hankook V2 blackbird 195/60/R15 at last weekend MM..so far I am pleased with it  ...I havn't try it on the NSHW though...maybe around Aug/Sept..that is, if I can get the annual leave approved..

My advise is....on wet road Toyo braking performance is marginal....if you are the bread winner, or have family or kids....don't risk it when road is wet...either change better wet braking tires..or slow down and give ample "car-length" in front...

I pay RM3150 for my Impul suspension at TCM jOHOR jAYA.

You even can do servicing there lor... heard from mechanic Sat morning will have a lot of S'pore Nissan went to servicing lor...
Guarantee the price is much more cheaper compare to here lor after convert back to SD.
One thig good u can chat with the mechanic during servicing and understand more about your car. :yehyeh:

Additional point u can bring yr own parts so they only charge u labour only..Ex; Oil filter, engine oil, brake pad etc.

Ha!!! S'pore TCM actually don't carry any IMPUL parts at all lor :devil2: That one they so call IMPUL "HAO SIAO" one, IMPUL bodykit was local licence make. Enkei rim???

ha! Not even know from where? other then that not worth buy at all from TCM SG.
Unlike M'sia IMPUL other then aero kit local licence fabricate all others parts was from Japan. But anyone want to change any IMPUL parts must not wait anymore heard they will try to get local licence to fabricate too....

Where are the TCM service centre in Malaysia (johore)....which one is "safe" location...coz dun want to save some maintanence money (especially with heavy service at 40K & 60K km) there but ended up kanna "robbed" or has to give "kopi" money away..

That's really sounds like a good deal! Me usually travel up to Malacca, might consider visiting JB for servicing during my 30k km after my NPMP package... :w00t:

Good info.
Then for my 28k servicing, i might go Muar TCM, another 3k+ to reach 28k.

Bring my own:
1) Engine Oil
2) Oil Filter
3) Air Filter?
4) Coolant? (need?)
5) Brake pad? How to buy? What to buy?
6) What else?

Labor cost + tyres rotation < RM200?
