Centurion Lations!
« on: July 28, 2008, 06:22:54 PM »
Hi. I'm pretty interested to gather those fella Lations whose Latios mileage are > 100,000km. Would like to share what are the things in which will fail, most likely to fail or something like that, so as to allow fella Lations whom are on the verge (80k or 90k km) and are still under warranty to know / understand and then try to rectify the situation before they run out of warranty. Would be good to include the mileage as of date, average monthly mileage and the YOM as well.

1. Garitzz - 125,000km as of 28 July 2008, ~4,800km/month (May 2006).

wah 125,000 km is a lot man. u must be traveling all day.

so, what things failed on you?

looking @ the forum i think the steering coupling is a common problem
then the bonnet tok sound when closing fast is also common (but easily fixed with grease/wd40)
i heard the cat converter got issue somewhere, but never see anybody in forum complain

err.. i never have this problem, my car only 3000km (touch wood touch wood)
but u can search the forum. the symptom is that when turning there is a tok tok sound coming from the steering column, which is a known coupling issue. some bro here change a few times already i think...
