Upgrading latio sedan stock alarm

not sure on this, but refer to Thursday or Friday papers under car section. Saw an ad on alarm using the chameleon v3 and v8, claim to be able to use with our latio i keys, not able to try out as my car will only be out next month. Newspaper cutting got discount.

i did some serious thinking and had some concerns as follows:

for these alarms that we want to install, how much help does it provides if we are in a shopping center such as in malaysia or thailand? will the 2 way alarm be able to send signal while it is parked in basement 1 carpark and notice us when we are happily shopping?

what about the gsm alarm, since it is using sim card and will call our designated 2 mobile no., will this be better then the normal 2 way alarm? and we might need auto roaming for the sim card we installed in the module tio send calls to us right?

sigh ... dono which to have ... but the GSM seems good ...

Any advie from experience users? thk u ..

hmm quite interested leh.. i might want to upgrade my alarms via a professional people/company so that in the future, got problem, i know who to go back leh
