Is it too late to buy a nissan latio 2007?
« on: July 29, 2008, 11:13:41 PM »
Hi, brothers and sisters.. This is the first post. I am looking to change my ride to a latio sedan.
but is it too late to buy now as new model is coming?
I asked a SE about the price of latio sedan, i was quoted $53500.
Freebies are as follows:-
1)Bodykit (-$500 if opted out)
2)leather seat
3)sport rim
4)solar film
5)free 2.5yr svc

Is it a good deal? tried to ask for more discount but SE say will eat into the commission.
hope to join the latio family.  :D

Welcome to TLC.
Since the SE quoted you for 07 model, it is still not too late.
It's your choice to take the pre-facelift with discount or wait for new one w/o discount.
I took the pre-facelift because of the discount offered, else I would opt for other brand.   ;D

Just something to bear in mind - TCM clearing their current stock of Latios to make way for new model so the prices now are very attractive. This is why i chose to buy my Latio now & i am loving every moment driving it!

However, it also means the colours available is also limited due to very limited stocks. So this is something to bear in mind. So you have to weigh the pros & cons of getting current model now with limited choice of colours or waiting longer to get new model.

As for prices, TCM say new model will cost more. But the way the world economy is going now, who knows what will happen in a few months, right? Even my SE admits that when the new model is launched and if sales are bad, there's a good chance that TCM will be forced to reduce prices or throw in freebies.

Welcome, welcome

If you get sedan, it should be manufacture in 2007 and sport should be manufacture in 2008. Cos my Premium Sport is a 2008, engine layout abit diff from the 2007 batch.

I'm also new to the Latio Club and just got mine last Thu...Am enjoying every moment and running up to 1000km.
My first tank of fuel estimated at 1L to 13.8km. A lot better compared to my previous Hyundai Matrix...8))
I'm also happy with the drive and minimal road noise, good legroom and climatic air-con...;))
