New Tyres - Put in Front or Rear?
« on: August 06, 2008, 02:21:47 PM »
I have always put my new tyres on the front if I change just 2 tyres.

I thought new tyres should be put on the front as the front tyres wear out faster, and for greater control too, since the 2 rear  tyres are 'dead'.

I find the video by Michelin quite biased as you will notice that the driver driving the dark green car with new tyres at the front deliberately swerved his steering to make it skid and when it skid, he also did not counter steer to bring it back to the correct path.

Any comments?
