My car is back in action

Hi all,

Finally, my car is back in action after a long wait of 8 days. Everything seem to be ok after repair but only the 1 part of painting dun seem good. it was raining when i collected my car on friday morning. so cant really see it. till this morning when i cleaning my car, i saw my bumper (which was replace after the accident) having a patch haze like thing that cannot be wipe away leh. dunno what is it. the car was fully polish and wax as stated in the receipt. i wonder is it due to uneven polish leh :confused1:. dunno TCM still will accept my complain after few days anot leh? sianz.......... :weep:

Probbaly due to your paint not having enough time to cure and dry and immediately exposed to rain.

Check for pin holes on repainted surface too.

I suspect car was not oven baked to dry paintwork, hence your problems faced.

For your info, I had my previous ride repaired and repainted after an accident.
The paint job looks ok but I realised that after 6 months, the paint looks like it had air bubbles in it!
Went back to NTUC & complainted. Had the car repainted again. So you have to monitor it longer. :thumbsup:

Went back to NTUC & complainted. Had the car repainted again. So you have to monitor it longer. :thumbsup:

huh? so long still can complain har? the paint look ok to me. just that 1 part of it got haze like patch lor. wipe wif water it gone but when dry then it come back again. tomorrow try to call tcm c wat they wan to do  :mad:

Don't rush Tan Chong to redo your paint job.

Just ask them to take their time and meanwhile, loan you a courtesy car.

din rush them at all. they took 8 days for repair + painting leh :mad:
