1k Servicing
« on: October 19, 2008, 03:21:23 PM »
Just went for my 1k servicing at TPY yesterday.

Sent in at 10am and ready by 10.45am.  The SA told me would take 2 hrs but actually only about 1/2 hr before received sms that car was ready for collection.  Lucky I didn't take bus to TPY Hub, was still reading newspapers when the sms came.

The lounge on the 2nd floor was closed.  Now the waiting area was a small one partitioned off on the ground floor.

BTW, the new brochures for Latio & Latio Sport for FL models already out liao.

Definitely will change oil filter for 1K servicing coz it the most dirtiest of all servicing to the debris for the running in.

The worksheet showed oil filter and engine oil change.  There was also a slip of paper showing the battery test results.

Actually there was some niggling problems when I collected the car.  I noticed the driver's side of the side beam (where the tweeter was placed) wasn't fitted flush with the dash board and the small piece of triangular cover that has some ventilating holes.  In fact the small triangular piece and side beam disconnected after 2 days of driving and I had to spend some time pushing them to join back together... LOL.

Also noticed that sometimes when I stepped on the brake at low speed there is excessive vibration.  Think will highlight to the SA at 5k servicing if the problem worsens.

Better to highlight to SA before problem worsens.
